Our church has always desired to be the focal point of our community by opening our hearts and doors to everyone who would come. We’ve strived to serve our community by hosting neighborhood watches, town councils and even fireworks displays. As part of our Honoring His Name campaign, our plan is to add a community center on campus that would house administrative offices for our staff, a senior center to give resources and aid to the elderly and a conference center for com-munity purposes. Imagine how much more effectively we could serve our community with all of these improvements and additions.
These changes would not only help our community but also our nation and our world. Our reach spreads far beyond our boundaries when it comes to winning souls for Christ. We have already planted two daughter churches and have several satellite campuses. How many more churches will we be able to start as God blesses us in the future? Over the past 5 years, Shepherd of the Hills has given close to $3.8 million dollars to missions around the world. Imagine how much more God could do through our local, national and international outreach efforts as our church continues to grow exponen-tially. We would become “a city on a hill that cannot be hidden!”
